We're in the process of adopting a dog from a rescue and wanted to check roughly what we'd be paying in insurance. But not knowing which dog we will have yet we can't really fill it in - not to mention they all ask for full contact details (and I really don't want constant harrassment about if I'm taking up their insurance. Can anyone tell me how much they pay for their insurance and what it covers please? Just so I can have an idea. Ideally I want minimal vet excess if possible. Thanks.

I pay roughly 20 pounds per month. That covers vet expenses worth up til 4600 pounds per year, including medicine and home-supplies like collars, harnesses etc. I pay excess 70 pounds and 10% of the full bill.
