Hi all I have a jack Russell cross border terrier dog and she has very itchy ears, the vets have now said it's allergies but am looking for a more cost effective way of helping her with her itching as is costing a small fortune at the vets, thank you

No advice sorry. Only that sometimes you can purchase the drugs (if your dog is on any) from the vets on an online well-reputed pharmacy for a lot cheaper.

Maybe put something soothing on them? Like a very thin layer of barrier cream (sudocrem, savlon) if it is on the external of the ears.

I've heard that Thornit powder is good for soothing ears. No personal experience though, so do read up about it on the internet and maybe ask your vet for their opinion on using it.
