I've just read this on another site and thought I'd cross post onto here

On Friday, 16th October, 2009, my father was in town in Caterbury at about 2pm. His Great Dane was trotting behind his disability trolly when witnesses saw a fair haired girl of about 17-18 years drag her off. This happened in the Palace area of Canterbury, Kent. Several people saw the girl with the dog.

As you can see from the photo, my father is elderly (in his 80's) and severely disabled. Daisy, the Dane is his closest companion since my mother died a few years ago, and he absolutely dotes on her. They go everywhere together and, because of the unusual sight of a disability trolly and a great Dane together, they are a familiar sight in Canterbury.

My father is distraught by her loss and we are all worried about her safety.

Daisy is microchipped. She is about 7 years old and the most beautiful natured dog.

A substantial reward is offered for her return or information leading to her return.

Please contact me if you have any possible information to suzettebooth@aol.com.

This dog has also being reported to doglost

The email is the original posters not mine I've left it on incas anyone sees anything

There is a photo of the dog too but I'll have to put that on later as I'm about to go to work.

I am so sorry to hear this. Some people are just downright nasty. the poor old man. I do hope that possible CCTV footage and witnesses will help them recover Daisy soon. :luck:

Good news :D Daisy has been recovered and returned , hope they throw the book at the culprit !

OMG I was feeling sick when I was reading this. So relieved to hear she is back and reunited with her owner.
