(w00t) Nope-impossible  must have been heading down the M6 from Scotland, not up it :p .

will keep my eyes peeled on our way up to Crufts.......maybe spot it in a field, running around on it's strange odd length legs.

If I do spot it Zilloot,how do I catch it :- " ?

Lyd

The haggis has been delayed, thanks to the exhaust blowing on Fiona's car somewhere near Alnwick (w00t)

Good news is that it's now on it's way again & should arrive in Lincolnshire about 8pm!

I'm just hoping that Fiona's brought a cage for it as I don't fancy it running round the house all night being chased by 4 greedy whippets!

I get a bad feeling that it'll be well & truly dead,& probably eaten before Crufts!! (w00t) (w00t) (w00t)

Can dogs legally chase & kill a haggis???

Absolutely not.....surely you know that the haggis is a protected species. Mind it doesn't chase the whippets (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) :p

Its quite easy to catch a wild haggis. Just chase it until it is contra rotationally clockwise orientated on a hill so it falls down the hill never to stand up again. When butchering your haggis you MUST ensure that the longer legs are removed first or you will suffer from severe Haggis wilt which is not a pleasant condition to be in (as Russ will testify)

Thanks Dawn,so will my whippies be able to run down a haggis ? Do I need to get myself a Haggishound

I beleive the Haggis Hound is tipped to do well at crufts this year!

They may chase the Haggis , but it must be shot (w00t) before the dogs can get to it

The problem now, of course, is that many haggii (plural of haggis is haggii) are getting injured by poor markmanship resulting in the slow diminution of useage of their legs. Unfortunately this means they can no longer travel around the hills looking for food and will crawl away into their Haggis Holes to die a slow death.

Obvioulsy a quick death is better as we call eat them.

Are Haggii classed as vermin or are a protected species? (w00t) (w00t)
