I am very tempted to go next year. I'd be planning to either fly down for a one day visit, or make a weekend of it and stay on the Somers Wood campsite which I believe is close to the NEC. Is anyone else thinking of going? And if anyone is familiar with the area, is the campsite the best place (I have a motorhome)?

Does the NEC have camping facilities? Might be worth checking. They certainly do when they have the large Motorhome shows there. There were only so many hook ups available though. We can go several days without hook up so we were fine. Lots of the exhibitors will camp though so book early if they offer it!

As to whether we will go? Not sure yet. I have been several times and it doesn't change much to be honest. Well worth a visit if you have not been before though.

Brilliant idea! We have a solar panel so a hook up isn't really important, I shall check that out. Thank you for the suggestion.

Perhaps not from here unfortunately - lovely as my home is, it's in a poorly supported commuter area.

I am not a fan of the Kennel Club but do check out to see what educational content their stand has. A couple of years ago they were putting on seminars that people working in the dog industry could enrol in. That applied to me at the time but I am sure that they did not check my credentials. There were seminars on diet for the sporting athlete dog, behaviour, all sorts of health problems, breeding etc etc.
