Christmas Shopping

Lucky you   I have a little bit done but just can't get into it at all.  It will be the first anniversary of my mum's death on the 10th (WEDNESDAY)  and I still can't get my head around it   Not even in the spirit for putting up a Xmas tree, but suppose I better for my son's sake as he likes the tree up :- "  sorry if I sound a bit on the depressing side

Iknow just how you feel

Just been to my cousins funeral today,,only 43yrs old John was at his Aunts funeral last Friday and my mum died just day's before my son's first birthday so I do know how you feel, but my mum, even my cousin would not want me to stop christmas, or Gary's birthday

Life must go on :huggles:

It took me a few years to do this , but I just love Christmas as it's a very special time :huggles:

I decided to put the tree up tonight, so I suppose that's a start

Sorry to hear about your cousin and John's Aunt Life seems so unfair at times but as you say, it has to go on. I will be glad when wednesday's over. This Xmas seems to have hit me worse that last year. I suppose because the actual funeral was on the 19th last year I was on autopilot trying to get through it all. I'm just thankful that my Mum never died on the 23rd as that is my birthday and she kept saying she hoped that wasn't going to happen bless her
