Only need to mention racing and Kerri goes to pieces. Though all the Champs she's ever run at bar FED as Askern she's been very ill and we didn't know. She just kept trying her best and getting nowhere.
Its always interesting to look back at predictions after events don't you think?
A few surprises yesterday and a few expected-
I must say one of the dogs that really impressed me at the champs was BANJO-What a size that animal is and what a mover! He made Gypsy Queen look like a 16lb'er.
Also SILVER LADY, I predicted she'd win the Bitche's 30 pound class...very few believed me...just gutted my dog couldn't do the same We trial on the together on the bends, and my smaller dog has won 5 out of 7, but I do think she will be someting special, and she is still a yearling...so, I predict she will win on on Saturday ....
Gary, my dog Red Reign is now out of the yearlings, he's 20 months this week...
I did get runner-up in the 28's so it ain't all bad he and Silver Lady had the same time in the heats, fastest of the day...she kept it going, he sadly didn't
thanks Karen...as you well know we love our dogs and always think they are the best But, the positive is Sue (Sammy Boy) was delighted with her win, and she was very gracious, I hope I was too, despite the disappointment :b
Really pleased for Tom and Silver Lady though, he's just returned to racing after a 25 year gap...she'll do well at the weekend....I can't go as it's Saturday racing, but will stay at home for the Thurrock weekend, and then head for the FED straights...
