Has anyone got any ideas for keeping next doors cats from using our veg patches as a giant litter tray.
Whisper is obsessed with getting out there and eating the cat poo
Disgusting

What if you told next door folks that while Whisper loves their cats’ poo, she wouldn’t mind the cats themselves? Could they realistically keep a closer eye on their cats, or are these outdoor cats just roaming the neighborhood?

Ive used Get off my Garden crystals. They're non toxic. I bought mine from Wilko.

Some people swear by lion dung its suppose to scare the cats off..
Or you could be like OH sick of our garden being used as a litter tray he got a kids super soaker and squirted any cat who came up the drive.. most now stay on the other side of the road.

Or you could just collect the poo and deliver it back to the cat owners... see if they like it in thier garden..

I know it's not good but Timber is an excellent cat deterrent.

You can borrow one of my terriers, best deterrent going. No cat poo in our garden anymore.

My parents used to put filtered coffee in the garden to keep the cats from using it as a toilet, I remembered it worked quite well.

Plant lavender or peppermint around, cats do not like the smell, you could also buy some of those in oil form, mix with warm water and spray around the garden, keep all and any citrus peel, chop it up and spread it around the garden... or fit a motion activated water sprinkler or motion sound activator... know someone who swears by bananas, chopped up and spread around where they go.... you can also purchase rolls of ? (not sure what it is called but it is like a plastic webbing with plastic bits sticking up sold espeically for that) which if it is a veg garden you could lay between the rows
