Thanks everybody! I am absolutely over the moon. The pups are nice and even, all strong and Callista is obviously doing very good job feeding and cleaning. The pups are nice fat and quiet, and the beddding did not need changing this morning.

I was worried about this delivery, Callista normally such a happy dog looked so miserable during her pregnancy. Well, she lit up as soon as she came into labour and cheerfully spat them out, all seven of them in span of 2.5 hours. My first easy Whippet birth, so maybe the raspberry leaf tablets did the trick.

:wub: ther gorguse im getting all broody now ..well iv never seen a paddling pool used for that before really good idea is that :thumbsup:
 
.....and a close up. As we expected we got nice mixture of colour, some full pigmented, some blue. One little boy looks very silver, wonder if he will be almost cream. The partis and white trin ones all have very nice even facial markings. I think I can see some stripes on one of the parti girl.

And now, I have to stop looking at the puppies and deal with the bathtub full old sleeping bags I used to cover the sofa, where we had the puppies on last night. :)) Actually, not having to crawl on my knees to help them being born, was great for my back.
 
ahhh beautiful all 7 of them!!! :wub: :wub: Lovely mix of colours, my daughter just said you have one that looks very much like one of ours "Merlin" similar facial markings. best of luck with them they look gorgeous!! :thumbsup:

I love it because it also has air in the base the bitch is very comfortable and does not dig. At least mine do not, this is the second litter I am using it for. Of-course, I put it away as soon as there is sign they may start biting it :) . It took lot of time finding this one; just the right size and hight, so nobody is allowed to eat it.

A special "birthing bath" for 7 very special babies! :wub: They look so content, I can't believe they all arrived in such a short time, all whelpings should be like that! I can't wait to see the colours properly, more pics please!! :thumbsup:
