Can anyone help with a basset hound with digestive problems

That is such great news! Love that pic of them:)

Actually that is really helpful to me too. I aim to get some, as i said in an earlier post,Jasper gets early morning reflux. I try to get up before he is sick. And if i manage to get him to eat a couple of yummy morsels, he will then eat properly and no sick but sometimes, maybe a few tines a month, i just don't get my timings right for catching it. Working progress. For jasper i believe its partly the big gap of meals, so i am going to try getting up super early to give him a snack. Also i read it is good to have their head raised while sleeping, so although he is in a crate, i have rolled a towel under either end of mattress. Will be interesting to see if this helps. Sounds like Morse is getting on with Slippery Elm.

I have also tried leaving a snack outside his crate ( he sleeps with door open), hoping he might have in earky hours. Sadly he eats immediately, so probably not an idea to recommend :)

Poor Jasper I know what it’s like with the early morning reflux as I said Morse has had it for most of his life with little help from our vet. What I am doing at the moment is giving him a late meal at 10pm with 10ml slippery elm on the top haven’t had any reflux at all. My friend has a small rescue dog that has early morning reflux and she has just started slippery elm she can’t believe how well it works. Hopefully you and Jasper will get same results

Thank you for that. As yet, I haven't got as I have discovered by going to bed later and therefore later tiny snack and getting up earlier, pretty much no reflux. So am continuing with this. If this doesn't remain successful , I too will be getting slippery elm.
