Can anyone give me reassurance

I agree, I think, as you probably know, the hard work is about to begin! The joy of approaching teens..;)
 
I think you sound like a fabulous owner @Teddy560 - you clearly love your boy otherwise you wouldn’t be on here asking for advice :)
 
I would have him checked over by your vet, but it does sound like the terrible teens to me.

Dillon was that bad at one stage I wanted to send him back to his breeder, taking him to training made him worse and behaviorist was waste of money, so we struggled on, on our own, now we have the most caring and gentle boy, you could ever wish for.
 
Thank you :) I've been doing some research on adolescent behaviour and he sounds like a textbook case. Glad to know it is just a phase. I've been trying to keep the rest of his routine the same. We go for a walk everyday without fail and spend time training too.
 
This was him this week. He's so tall and leggy. We saw a little show cocker at the park today and he must be double it's size.
