Hello everyone,

This weekend we had our puppie and veteran show of the Dutch whippetclub.

Something really really great happened for my young puppie Riva.

She was the youngest entered but showed like a real "professional".

Mr Frans Boers ( Gullyridge whippets ) made her best bitch and together with Mr Frans Gerritsen they made her best of the show.

I'm extremely proud as Riva is holding in her pedigree - for myself - almost all my most importend dogs I bred over the years. It is nice when it works on paper, but it is even nicer when the real result is also great of course .

She is by Ch.Boxing Helena's Epos Ena and Balmy Limonite Dominija.

I will try to add some pictures of Riva.

Hey Bart, I have seen a lot of 3 month old puppies -- we don't have shows here where we can see them but we see a lot of our own -- and I think this has to be the best moving little whippet puppy I have ever seen! Migosh, she is so balanced in overall appearance and the movement is so correct for one so very young! You have got to be thrilled, and rightly so, with her puppy show debut!

I guess in a way I am not totally surprised because if memory serves me right isn't she a daughter of two of your dogs who placed so well at Crufts in March? Mom won her large class, and Dad was 3rd in open dog under Morag behind the DCC and RDCC.

If for any reason you become totally insane and decide this puppy is not right for you ... KLM Amsterdam ships direct to Montreal here in Canada and we are only 90 minutes drive away!

Seriously though, congratulations on this very pretty, very sound puppy.

Lanny

Wow - well done - what a little professional she looks

What a very pretty young lady she is and her movement is fantastic.

What an amazing result at just 12 weeks, she's a lovely baby :huggles:

Yes lanny, she is indeed a puppie out of those two parents,

about Justin i just wrote another topic, and the mother Lima is my Lithuanian import, Balmy Limonite Dominija.

She was bred by Asta Simonelyte, out of Multi Ch.Boxing Helena's Coral Gem sired by Ch.Twyborn Philadelphia.

I'm forever thankfull to Asta for breeding this fantastic litter and for sending me Lima.

CONGRATULATIONS - she is stunning

What a brilliant acheivement for one so young - you have an exciting journey ahead of you with this wee lady.... let the party begin
