Being Sold For Breeding

Well I have her home and she is in a sorry state, she has scabs on her ears and legs and is bleeding in places. She is also underweight. I will post pics as soon as I get a chance.

is she nervous?

Just let her settle for tonight and i think the sooner she sees a vet the better by sounds of things

Oh Sarah does'nt it make you sick what people can be like :(

The poor girl..sounds like it will maybe take her a while to recover,why oh why cant these people just "deal" in inanimate objects instead of living,breathing creatures :angry: :angry:

I hope she settles well with you good luck :luck: and at least you can sleep at night,which is more than can be said for some!!

She slept on the bed with me and the other dog I have here last night. There wasnt a peep out of her. She is asleep on the couch at the moment snuggled under my dressing gown. :huggles:

I think you will find that she will want to sleep lots, she needs to relax and get rid of all the stress shes been under, but Sarah in your hands shes going to be fine :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Thanks for all your words of support and encouragement. She is sleeping SO much, I really dont know what she has been through but she sleeps most of the day and all night. I am just leaving her to settle. Havent chosen a name for her yet. :b

ah hun shel come around soon ,my poppy was like this sleeping all time but shes slowley needing less sleep ,give her some gentle cuddles from me :huggles: :huggles:

Yes i think its normal for her to want to sleep but in time she willsleep less as she starts to feel better lots of TLC is whats needed and im sure shes getting loads of that :))

As I put on Nickys thread. Whippets are very clever, they know when they are finally safe. All the very best with her and bless you for being so kind. :huggles:

well done for getting her , but it makes me very sad to think about all the others left behind , but as we know there is no solution to this on going problem :(

I have an appointment for her at a vets tomorrow, they are local but im not too keen on them, the good vet, the one I trust cant see her till monday so not sure what to do yet :(

I am going to call her Lucy :wub

aawww!! little Lucy :)) :)) yes she looks like a little Lucy and she looks very cosy in that picture :))

I think, if you are not sure about the vet, you should hold out for the one you have faith in ,so long as Lucy is not showing any serious signs of anything ie: diahhoria (sorry can't spell) not eating etc etc
