Being Sold For Breeding

Whats your opinion on someone advertising a dog for sale for breeding?

When I see an add like this I think this dog could end up in the wrong hands.

I have seen an add like this and am tempted to go get her. I know someone that could foster her. Am I mad to do this? I am thinking about the dog but not thinking about the fact that I may be feeding into his business by paying money for her. I called this add and turns out they have others outside they use for breeding but she is not happy outside so they are selling her. She is also very far away and I asked a member of the family to drive me to pick her up but he wont :(
 
That is so sad - I don't know what the answer is though :(
 
I thought the same as June,I don't know either :unsure: it's a hard call because you could go on forever with people like that :rant:
 
It's a real conundrum that. It's just so sad when you see adverts like that. Whereabouts is it? I'm sure if you really want to rescue it the k9ers will rally round to help, myself included but I'm guessing it's somewhere in Ireland?

Yes I am in Ireland, I have asked my family and friends to donate and they are all giving me a little bit. I am going to pick her up this weekend.

as iv just been in this situation ,my advise to you is if you havve the means to do so GET HER out AND GIVE HER A CHANCE OF THE LOVE AND FOREVER HOME all dogs deserve ,they will reward you with love and affection beyond belief :huggles: :luck:

Good luck for this evening and good on ya for caring enough about this little girl to do something for her. We cannot save all the dogs in the world but for those we do save it makes a world of difference. :luck:

Smile sweetly and bite your tongue when you see the conditions this little one is probably in. As someone said earlier one of the hardest things in rescue is to be pleasant to this type of person.
