All that running in the woods and having fun came to a crashing halt.

For the last 2 days Baby Miles has been limping and not putting weight on his rear right leg.

Took him to the vet today - and it seems to be soft tissue damage of some kind, so anti-inflammatory meds, and no walks for 2 weeks, no running inside, God help us all.

Lolly The Cat bravely parading everywhere around the house doesn’t help.

. Speedy recovery. To the house cat...stop teasing Miles. Pay back may come your way in 2 weeks. Miles may decide to destroy your favorite toy and eat your snacks

Soft tissue injuries can take a while to heal - hopefully his age is in his favour and he will be back to fitness soon.

Sorry to hear this . I hope Miles recovers quickly .
In defence of Lolly. Its her home too , she's not teasing but perhaps enjoying more freedom to roam while Miles is incapacitated .

Oh poor Miles - not what a puppy wants to hear! Exercise restriction!!

Awww poor boy, hope the two weeks fly by and Miles makes a quick recovery x

Oh no - time to do lots of training and invent mentally stimulating games?
He invents his own mentally very stimulating games.
"Open the closet, steal sandals, and don't let anyone catch you".
"Bite humans' toes".
"Rearrange the pillows on the sofa, preferably making a hole in at least one of them"
.

And then there are helpful tasks around the house that he volunteers for, like being an active participant in preparing chicken breast for the afternoon barbeque.

It's only 9 AM of Day 1...

Poor Miles but well done Miles for inventing your own games:D
