The secretary Doreen Hopkins has ask me to put this notice on the K9 site.

If anyone wishes to stand for any position on the B.W.R.A. committee they have until 31st of October 2004 in which to send their nominations and also their seconders to the secretary.

These are for the post of Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, President and Registrar, those who have already done so need not put in a duplicate as all will be voted on.

Please do not shoot the messenger.

should this not have been in last months W.N. whilst a lot of us have access to the net there are some who don,t as its apparently been forgotten about 14 days I think is a bit short notice for such an important issue.

i agree it is short notice. but i also think its about time every1 stoped blaming chris and whippet news for every thing. she does her best getting out what she is told.

must correct yoy there Sharon I wasn,t blaming Chris , I was saying should it not have been put in W.N. obviously by the BWRA sec.

I think that most of the committee thats on at the moment are doing a good job, theres only a few complains

Why did Steve Williams moan when asked if his dog could give a test at bwra champs, he thought because he was on the committee he should not of been tested, and why did the committee not get a test from Hellbound when John Meads and Linda Broom asked them to test it and offered the money to pay for it, i thought it was in the rules that anyone willing to pay for another dogs test was allowed and the committee had to provide this service.

To put the record straight, i did enquire about if any member could pay for a test of any dog. I decided against following it up. In fairness to the committee i doubt that all of them knew what i was thinking as i only ask one committee member.

This drug issue was brought up at the proposal meeting this last weekend and all who wish to voice their opinions should attend the B.W.R.A. agm in November.

It is my opinion that all dogs having failed a test of any kind should as a matter of course be re-tested at the next event that test are taken, never mind who's dog it happens to be.
