Any Relatives Of Blue On K9?...

Scott,
you've got Hillsdown Fergal as well in Deisel  ;)

Is there much crossover between racing and show lines, then? I thought it was quite unusual, although my dog's niece 'Go with the Flow' who won at Worcester a week or 2 back has a show-line sire.

Ooh - CH Pencloe Dutch Gold is Blues great great grandma and great great great grandma too
just out of interest - what does 2 CH's mean in front of a name?

now I'm confused because on Jillys papers it says that CH Pencloe Dutch Gold is her great grandfather. she also has Hillsdown Fergal and a lot of oakbarks

and lots of Oakbarks in the new puppy Pam and very strange Oakbark Middleman is this pups great great great granda and also related to my last dog Chip(which I lost last year) and the Puppy is also slightly related to Oscar - Yes Hillsdown Whippets again.

Do you think this pup is trying to tell me something.

Sunny is a silkstone dog, Hillsdown Fergal dad and Firedance at Silkstone mum

Devon is an Artmeis dog, Cobyco Candyman dad and Silkstone Kantara mum, with Pencloe Dutch Gold as grandad, so Fergal on both sides for him.

I've cut their nails today, can say for sure that they have all their toes!

and I'd just like to add that Sunny got 'special' and Devon got 3rd in our local exemption show today!

Sunny is quite closely related to my Freeway then.............

Ch Firedance at Silkstone is his grandmother, for this litter she was mated to Fergals son, Dutch gold which produced Silkstone Kiss of Fire, Freeways mum.

Freeways pedigree is quite close being a half brother/half sister mating on Dutch Gold. His dad being N. justa jesta.

What lovely dogs!

didn't find any extra toes then doris

I wonder if the royal family tree is like this (w00t) & if so who's the hillsdown fergal there then?

family tree? I think it would more like a stick! and Fergal is probably more like Adam - but who would be Eve?

Suppose he was the showing equivalent of Saxon Blade (Hammeron) racing when it comes to stud dogs?
Aaaaah!! So Saxon Blade is Hammeron is he??

Hannah mentioned Hammeron once, and I couldn't find him anywhere on Josie's ped so was a bit confused. He apparently accounts for Josie's pretty face

Hi Helen - We used to own Hammerons brother. His KC name was Celtic Black Fox and he raced as Time Finder but we called him Fiddler. He was the cleverest dog we ever owned and I miss him a lot. Fiddler and Hammeron were both black and both racing champions. They also both threw puppies with rather short noses, especially when combined with anything that had Powerful Paddy in the pedigree, but I have to say that Josie doesn't really look like that line to me. Although she does have a pretty face of course  :D

Our Moe (the fawn boy) also has Hillsdown Fergal many times in his pedigree, both on sire's and dam's side. His paternal grandparents are Ch Nevedith Rare Rogue and Ch Nevedith Justa Jenie, and maternal granparents are Int Ch Birkonbrae True E'nuff and Carmodey Miami (daughter of Int Ch Hubbestad Going Dutch).
A little more precisely Moe's kinship to Fergal :) Moe's paternal grandparents are Ch Nevedith Rare Rogue (g.grandson and g.g.grandson of Fergal) and Ch Nevedith Justa Jenie (granddaughter of Fergal), and maternal granparents are Int Ch Birkonbrae True E'nuff (son of Fergal) and Carmodey Miami (g.granddaughter of Fergal).

And here's a photo of Moe (Carmodey Tomorrow at Dusilla):

Little Fynn has powerful Paddy on both sides, and Hammeron as Grandad, Judy, but I think he is going to have a Pinnochio nose :p :p :p

Luckily both of Fyns parents have quite long noses Joanna or he might have looked like a pug
