My dogs have always been wormed with drontal plus every three months but two of them will try anything not to take it and needless to say they are the two who eat all the rubish of the day when out if they can.
I have always broken the tablets into small pieces and tried to hide in fav food but it takes forever to get them down. This time the vet nurse advised me to crush them up in food and they would never know they were there. Wrong, only half their breakfast was slowly eaten, then re-served at tea time. Strom reluctanly finished his but Penny still will not eat hers. I know that if they are really hungry they will eat it eventually but would prefer to find a wormer that is more palateable to them.
Can anyone give any advice, please.
