I haven't been on for a while, some of you may remember Dillon having Chronic Bronchitis. Well on Thursday we had to say Good Bye to our Lovely Boy, his breathing had got worse and he went off his legs, we phoned the vet and he came in (and told us what we already knew) that his time had come, so with me holding a paw OH stroking him and with the help of the nurse the vet gently helped my baby slip away.

We have so many happy memories of our lovely boy, but we will miss him so very much.

Really sorry to hear this . he leaves a big hole in your heart . :(

It's the worst pain and I'm so very sorry.

Thoughts go out to you. Loosing a pet can be awful. Hope you stay positive and remember the happy time.

.

It’s awful when the loss is fresh & raw, & U absent-mindedly expect to see or hear them at routine times - then U remember they’re gone, & Ur heart cracks again. :(

But in time, the hurt is less acute, & the memories of the times U spent with them are happy recollections. // I hope the grief eases soon, & don’t forget that ending their pain is one of the greatest gifts we can offer, rather than leaving them linger.

It’s a very hard choice, but it’s also the right one, at the right time. Saying good-bye is hard. :(

So sorry for your loss, my thoughts are with you x

I'd like to Thank You for your kind messages. Sorry I haven't answer your posts sooner, but it's so hard and at the moment it doesn't seem to be getting any easier. It's 3 weeks today since we said Good Bye to our baby and the tears having been falling again, I know it will get easier in time, but at the moment I can't see the light a the end of the tunnel.

There are absolutely no rules about how you move through grief. Just hang on in there, and trust that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, even if you can't yet see it xx

Very sorry to hear, this is hard.

A very sad day for you. I was in the same position a few weeks ago.
