A budgie, a dog and two humans

Hi there everyone!

My family consists of a my husband and myself with our little crazy budgie and dog. We got our dog from our neighbour two years ago. The mother dog wasn't very nice to him, and we couldn't stand the crying when she attacked him! He, together with his siblings, also sneaking made our balcony their toilet! We kept wondering where the poop came from until we saw them sleeping in a hole connecting us.

I'm ashamed to say that I am only on this forum to try and rehome him again It's a sad thing, but I'm struggling with mental issues which is made worse by him. We decided it's for the best, even though it might be hard to do right now.

On another note, it is nice to read about everyone's stories and I'm looking forward to chatting with you all!

Welcome to the forum, and how sad that you need to rehome your dog Have you approached any local rescues? You are probably already aware, but dogs advertised 'free to a good home' can end up in very bad homes. Rescues are experienced at assessing homes, and they may be very happy to use their resources to find him a suitable home while he stays with you for the time being. Good luck
