Unfortunately it turns out (having spoken to the person who saw the dog she thought was Amy) that the dog she saw was actually a lurcher cross. So sadly still no Amy.
We'll keep looking and hoping until she comes home.

Still no news on Amy. We've followed up various leads on whippets being found in various kennels but it's never been Amy. It was her first birthday on Sunday. Please look out for her on your travels. As we are pretty sure she was taken by travellers she could be anywhere by now.

So sorry to hear that. My whippet was stolen (we think by travellers) from our garden in May. It's heartbreaking.
My mum has befriended some very respectable travellers who are looking out for our whippet at various sites in Kent, I will ask them to look out for your dog too.

My ten month old fawn whippet bitch was stolen from Dunton Green in Kent on Thursday. She has been microchipped and spayed and her name is Amy.
