    Young Hooligan Caught Attacking Greyhound

Intoducing Gemma - who has been with us for two week. We have been told that she is pure whippet, around 6 months old, but didn't get on with the previous owners JRT. Of our 4 , hudson was off with her for around a week, which was expected, and is now starting to get used to her, Floyd our very...

    Ear Bleeding

You can buy a spray from a chemist ( for humans) which will stop bleeding but having checked with a phamacist I worked with it's fine for little whippets. I used it on cut on Hudson's leg and it worked well, not sure what it is called. Small nicks on ears really bleed badly.

Some Advice Urgently Needed - Ill Looking Dog

There have been times when I have wondered if someone would call the RSPCA when we have walked FFloyd, a greyhound/whippet cross, who at his worst weighted less than 18 KG when he used to weigh 26, he was diagnosed with Central Diabetes Inspidus last year and since then has suffered...

    Marchpast Whippet Line

Last time we went to Crufts, Philip Moran-Healy was there, and he was also talking about going to Australia, so no more Hillsdowns in my future or any little Marchpast either. Bob had Max's sister so I don't know whats happened to her. I would like to have another running fool whippet to keep...

    Marchpast Whippet Line

4 years ago we bought Max from Bob Belshaw, as he wasn't suitable for showing. We also have Hudson ( Hillsdown) who was bred by Moran-Healy. The Marchpast line was bred by Steve McMorrow, but there is nothing on the web for him, and when I looked on the whippet archive there doesn't seem to be...

    Patella Luxation

Yes, Max is a Whippet ( posh name Marchpast Express at Pemberton) and we also have Hudson ( Hillsdown Hudson), Cora Ex-racing greyhound ( Distant Plains) and FFloyds, greyhound cross with many names all of them rude. We think he must have had this problem all of his life, as we have seen signs...

    Patella Luxation

We gained Max three years ago, as his previous owner wanted a new home for him as he was unsuitable for showing, ( too friendly we were told) and he is very friendly. He was wanted as a companion for Hudson, who is a year older. He has had problems off and on over the years particularily with...

We tried ignoring him but he stratches the door, and gets quite persistant....but at other times he seems to be able to got for quite a long time.
