Thanks Judy, didn’t spot all the bites til we got back home , Lils was in a rush to escape ! She’s looking a bit sad but did eat her dinner so must be feeling reasonably ok, just wish she’d pick on something her own size!
Guess we’ve been lucky getting through ten years without a fight but today she had a real set to with a Visla , met up with a dog walker friend who had her 6 month old retriever and a clients dog, met him before and he’s a bit of a brute, anyway he was growling at the pup and Lily went into...
Thanks Kara xx bit of a morbid thought but I worry about not being around and still have a pet that needs taking care of ,I know 67 isn’t exactly ancient :D and hopefully have a good few years left in me but I still fret :( we’ve never been without a dog so it will be tough when we have none but...
We keep thinking about another one but just can’t go through all the heartache , as we get older we seem to get more sensitive, we know we have to go through it again with Lily ( hopefully not for a few years) but she will be our last one, sad as it is.
Been away for a few days Judy in the caravan and there just happened to be a beautiful Springer next to us, I could see hubby getting upset again which started me off, just cannot believe after 5 months we are still getting like this , thought we might be coming to terms with it by now but Molly...
I do sympathise with you as our Springer had many issues re barking and screaming at every dog ( apart from her best mate Lily terrier ) we had her at eights weeks old and I started taking her out in my arms to get used to all the sights and sounds out there, every time we saw a dog...
It’s so tough Judy,Monty was with you for so long it’s going to take a while before you get used to him not being around, I’m still like that with Molly 5 months on, can’t get used to not getting two food bowls out, having two beds in the lounge  how is Jasper coping without him?
It’s a yellow coloured gel type consistency and cones out of the tube in a very narrow string, try to get it into his eyes around the stye and it will make it’s way to the infected areas ( bit hard to explain :D) don’t let your fingers touch the ointment, if possible , avoids risk of anything...
I’m quite surprised Fistral is dog friendly with all those surfers about ! We love Crantock at low tide, lovely shallow pools for dogs to play in. Would love to live there , you’re very lucky :)
Just love Cornwall, we go to the Roseland two or three times a year just so we can go on the beautiful beaches ( Lily us at her happiest on the beach) often visit the north coast while we’re there, everywhere is so easy to get to! Which part are you from?
Hi jJohnd! My terrier won’t eat bones either, just sniffs and walks away :D but have problems with her eating anyway  would like to try her on raw chicken wings but knowing Lily she would leave it.....:(
