I was talking about another forum that the OP posted on, which also has many very experienced whippet owners. When she didn't hear what she wanted to hear, she then decided to ask here. I agree though, most non-whippet people on the street have no idea what the correct weight is for a whippet.

Why do you assume that these are "people who know nothing" :huh: Those who have offered advice to the OP have been involved with owning, breeding and exhibiting pedigree whippets for decades. The OP has a history of feeding her dogs to the point of obesity. No-one wants to see this whippet...
