    Anyone tried Dehydrated Raw?

Has anyone tried dehydrated raw? Finn is raw fed, I normally use the frozen stuff for convenience, but wondering is anyone has any experience of this? Not specifically this ‘flavour’, but this type of food in general. If you have tried it with your usually fed raw fed dog did it upset their...

    Separation Anxiety

Any tips for helping with separation anxiety in 5 month old labradoodle? Specifically with me! He’s actually fine if I go out and leave the house. But if he knows I’m in the house and can’t get to me he pines! Even if I go upstairs, he’ll sit by the closed door to the hall and cry. The other...

Lack of appetite after upset tummy

So, I just cooked up a small chicken breast and he gobbled it up. To the point he starting pushing his bowl against my foot and is now stalking me around the chicken excitedly! When I start to try to get him back into raw assume I need to do slowly? Or should he be ok as it’s been all he’s...

Lack of appetite after upset tummy

It’s the raw that he’s turning his nose up at. I tried a turkey and fish one that he normally loves, but did wonder if it was a bit strong/smelly for him after a bad tummy. Luckily he’s drinking well, will even drink water with the rehydration stuff in it! Will try him with some cooked...

Lack of appetite after upset tummy

hi, our 5 month old mini labradoodle had an upset tummy this week; loose stools (Thursday), then vomited the day after (Friday), seemed hungry but not interested in food once it was out in front of him. He went to the vets that day and was given anti nausea injection, rehydration powder and...

    Puppy getting picky

Thanks everyone. Normal service seems to have been resumed. I persevered for about a day, gave in and changed 1 meal, then he suddenly started eating the other stuff again. Maybe bored. Not sure if we'd got the meat out a couple of days in a row and not realised (lots of other stuff...

    Puppy getting picky

Hi, Finn is 17 weeks and raw fed (mainly Honeys). Until this week he has gobbled down his food. Then he stopped eating the lamb, but still wolfed down everything else. Today he's refusing the duck, although got very excited when I mixed some pumpkin puree in, and licked it all off. And he's...

1 week, 10 days or 2 weeks until walkies?

thanks everyone, it's hard as I feel his cabin fever and the big park is literally across the road from us. Think we'll maybe try a little walk up the road after the 10 days but leave the park and more exiting jaunts for the 14 days.

Lead with collar or harness? Long lead?

That all makes sense when you say it! Are there "good" or "bad" types of harnesses, or something I should be looking for? Or is a but trial an error to find the one the dog likes best, is most comfortable in?

Lead with collar or harness? Long lead?

It won't be long until we can take pup out so I'm starting to get him used to collar etc. He has absolutely no issue with his collar, it hasn't bothered him at all, in fact he's had it on all morning today and he's comfy. Any advise on if a harness is comfier for them on their lead, rather...

1 week, 10 days or 2 weeks until walkies?

Advise on how long after 2nd vaccinations pups can go out seems to vary and I haven't had the same answer from 2 people yet. I assumed 2 weeks, but does it vary dependent on brand/type. We had Lepto 2 is that makes a difference? Thanks

    Toilet training regression

Pup’s been with us just over a week now and when he arrived, he was ace. Wanting and asking to go outside etc. Only a couple of little wee incidents when he got super excited. But, in the last couple of days, he’s decided that inside is the place to do everything! Trying to take him out often...

Moving from Raw - quickly or gradually

Thanks, I'll check them out too. Reading all this and checking out some of the recommendations, I'm feeling much more encouraged and less daunted by it all. I think we'll try to stick with raw for now and see how we get on. May get some of the Gentle too, to see how he gets on with it so it...

Moving from Raw - quickly or gradually

Sorry, I may have opened a tin of worms of never ending questions! Had a look at Honey's a quick glance through the guide, it's awesome thank you! I will be taking the time to look through it in detail today. Does anyone have any experience with their food? Looking at the food, it looks...

Moving from Raw - quickly or gradually

Thank you both so much for your replies, genuinely really helpful, I feel like I've been going in circles. Although as a family we've always had dogs and been around them. This is the first dog we've had in our little family and I'd never heard of raw feeding before so it's a bit overwhelming...
