I typically do. Since I like to and I mean, I do work at a grooming salon so it would make sense, haha. But sometimes.....it is nice to just send them away for the day and have them come back all clean......
I give my dogs all the same chews throughout any age, so I would, haha. It's really owner discretion though. We don't have many soft things in our household, because I have four destructive males.
I haven't been around too much these days! I've had my new addition a few months now, but he didn't end up coming from this breeding. She had a puppy still available from a previous breeding, and I was somehow able to make it work. The above pairing female, just didn't want to go into heat...
Pet dogs I keep intact until at least 4 years old if given the option (nothing medical comes up or sometimes they are done earlier if adopted or rehomed); breeders would be a couple years later.
My dogs & puppies get to come to work with me and still are crated up to 12 hours besides getting a bathroom break on and off. I wouldn't trust an 11 week old puppy not to have to piddle or poo depending on the length of time. Which is uncomfortable for them and can make potty training an issue.

Sort of. I don't often give them actual birthday parties; though I wouldn't mind starting to do so! Just don't have the time to plan, always. But I do acknowledge it is their birthday and give them an extra treat for theirself or to share with the other dogs!
I find it very disturbing that vets still push 6 months. It's such an invasive surgery that takes out a system that dogs need to grow. Maybe, things one day will change, with all the studies and information coming out in modern day, about how altering dogs too early, has both behavior AND...
I've never seen someone head lock a dog.....but groomers often do use restraint, yes. If people actually worked with their dogs at home, instead of expecting us to be able to brush, trim nails, clean ears, trim their dogs, etc. every six months, no issue, with them doing none of it at home, it'd...
Welcome to the forum! Besides the two Airedales we get into the salon - I've not much experience with them, but I ADORE Boxers! For sure will own one, someday! They're such fun and sweet dogs! :D
