Well for the last 3 days I have managed to comb Bonnie, use my husbands clippers (ssssh don't tell him ) to trim a bit off her feet and sat with hair dryer next to her to desensitise her usin the above technique. She has done so well and allowed me to do these things without too much stress...
Thank you. She was starting to bark to go out for toilet but then came the good weather so I tend to leave the door open. I guess until she has cracked it I will try closing it.
Oh gosh yes I never thought of that. There is a delay in wee then treat. It's so hard to sneak treats out of the fridge when I know she is about to go as she stops. I will pre-empt better and def change the treats thank you.
Wow....I am overwhelmed with responses. Thank you ALL so much, so much info to work on. I have done a little bit of desensitisation with the grooming but nowhere near enough. I def need to put the time in. Will have a good look at the clips leashedforlife thank you. Hope the pee leaks are sorted...
Hi all
My pup Bonnie is 20 weeks ago. She still bites from time to time but is generally good and is starting to learn the ‘leave it’ technique. The problem is that she has uncontrollable excited/annoyed moments (aside from the zoomies) when she makes aggressive snarling noises I.e the kids...

I only crate her at bedtime. Should I crate at other times?? Thing is when she is possessed i’m frightened to touch her as she is a lunatic. She is a dream during the day give or take biting/mouthing episodes.
Thanks. I’m weaning her off iams (breeder started her on) to one that vet recommended. Can’t think of the name but part of first steps package. No don’t think she has been dropped. Well not since she has been with us.
Hi All
My pup, 12 weeks old is learning not to mouth after 10 second time outs in her crate. She loves her crate and goes in for sleeps regularly so I can safely use this but...and there is big but.,getting her in there for the time out normally involves what seems a bit of aggressive nipping...
Hi Vizmum
I can’t offer you any advice sorry but I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I have a little 10 week old Tasmanian devil too I laugh but like you I want to cry. The biting at times is manageable. I do time out in her crate for 10 seconds. I count this to her, say...
