Hi - I feed mine a handful of biscuit in the morning @ 7.30, then meat at 12.30/1pm and finally a handful of biscuit at 6. I have had no problems with her what so ever. Little but often seems to be the key for her.

I thought that for a treat I would cook up some pigs liver to give my girl plenty of iron and vitamins and then I remembered that in humans they say don't eat too much as its not good. Is this true for dogs as well? She's on puppy food at the moment as this was the vets recommendation and now...

Oh how lovely! Poor her - must be shattered. I know I was after a c-section and that was for just one! Glad it all went well and with luck you'll be in your own bed tonight. ;)

Lucky you went in, hope I get an easier time. Best of luck, hope all goes well and all the puppies are ok. Will you have to do anything special following a c-section with your girl or will she be able to manage them on her own? :luck:

My vet said it could be anything from 60-64 days and not to get to hung up on it but get her checked out on day 65 just to make sure Not sure if that helps

I didn't have one this time around and by palpating the vet just said a few! Crumbs - how pregant was she when you took het to the vet - coz at 5 weeks (which she is now) he couldn't feel any!!

Aaah - just seen the loveliest sight at the vets. Two small puppies wriggling around, both with heart beats. Vet couldn't tell manually whether she was or wasn't as they were both tucked up high and at the back. Vey excited and can't wait, vet says she is in excellent condition and doing...

I love taking my whippet for a long run on the beach - she is soooo fast and just loves pounding down the sand chasing a frisbee. Even better if there is another whippet for her to play with - yet to see any other dog out run her though!!! (w00t)
