3 days post op. Zappa keeps he's normal self, always playing and trying to run.
We went to the ver yesterday, his "scar" is healing well, no problems. The vet said to let the little guy run and play (no to much, and not with other dogs) so that he won't be depressed and frustrated haha
I...
haha well said JoanneF, the little guy moves too much, I think that's why he also has a little bit of pain. He seems he's normal self otherwise, if I let him, he just runs and runs and runs :P
Yap, that's what we've been doing, he's calmer now :D chewing helps too.
it seems to me he is in little pain, he whines now and then, not much, but does. I'm guessing this is normal?
Hey there,
Need some more advice :D
Zappa just got spayed yesterday . He slept the whole night, no signs of pain. Today woke up early, ate very well, drinking, played a little, most of the day he just slept. But now he's beginning to be he's normal self, witch means getting the zoomies and...
hmmm....
ok, I'll start with the oil firstt and se from there, he has a lot of white little things , like dandruff on his hair, maybe that's why he itches?
Oh, another question, how do I dog proof my plants? this little guy loves to chew on dirt from plants lol
he did
first of all, thanks :) he has no patches, just shedding all over, beautiful "hair" though, but no sign of getting bald patches.
As for the itchiness, it's weird. it's not always on the same spot, no marks, no red spots, no nothing. he's playing,, and suddenlyy stops to chew his paw...
Skin scrapes?? no. vet's here are very very rudimentar. no skin grapes, no fecal analysis, no dna testing, no immune tests, nothing. simple blood analysis , palpation, and clinic history, nothing more, and they know almost nothing of doog foods :(
it's very hard to have a super healthy dog...
Hey guys, anyone else using Alpha Spirit dry dog food??
I'm trying it with zappa, my 7 month pup, for now everything's fine, but it seems the little guy is getting very ithcy and is shedding a lot... any thoughts??
hello there,
Zappa's having explosing dhiarrea now. yesteday he got dhiarrea again, and the vet recommend antibiotic and more probiotic (enteromicro and glutomax) and royal canin gastrointestinal diet. But today morning the litle guy has explosive dhiarrea.
He appears to be he's nomal self...
My heart tells meto give him as much treats as he can eat, also bones, pounds of cheese, sticks, dirt, bread, etc etc.... hahaha just kidding, I'm having a bit of problem solving this, I want the little guy to grow up healthy and happy, if I could (or if it made a difference) , I would try dry...
well, that was very very helpful. thanks a lot. I still have about 4kg of acana, I'm going to test it with a little of wet Naturea, and a little of warm water and see from there.
He had his anus glands a bit swollen too, but that was from the dyarreiha apparently.
Any more advices will be...
Thanks for the advice.
Vet's here, at least in my town, don't even know about most grain free foods, only acana, and they never used it. they usually advice Royal canin or Specific , and say those are awsome.
I only prefer a good dry, wet or mix food that my pup would eat well, and that...
Ive searched a bit more, and found out about butternut dog food and it caught my eye :D do they ship to portugal?
I'm really struggling with this changing food thing. My little guy is always itchy and sometimes chewing paws too. I've read in the Akela 80:20 site , that those are signs of not...
good morning guys,
Thanks for all the advices.
Regarding dry food and wet food, my vet says to no mix the too, ony when needed. what do you say? I'm considering changing to Naturea dry food (Portuguese food similar to Acana, wast first made in the UK :) ) , but adding some wet food if the...
Thanks for the replays.
He's a mixed breed puppy from a local shelter. he's now 16,65kg and 53cm tall (shoulder to front feet). By the Acana bag he should be eating around 300grm pr day (with the wet food he eats that very well), he's very energetic and playfull, walks 2 or 3 times a day...
