I hope that this is true for Tilly, but as the lump in in her throat, i fear it will grow so big it will restrict her breathing and so the only option will be to have it removed again or have her PTS. :(
Update
The lump is back in the same place, just as big.
I cant keep having the lump cut out, its not fair on her to keep going under the anaesthetic.
So I think we will just have to let her carry on till the time comes.
I am gutted, words cant express how I feel :(
Again thank you so much for your well wishes
I think we have come to the decision that we wont put her through chemo, its not just the money, but I dont
want her to go through the pain and sickness if it wont help and they cant garentee that.
So i am just hoping they have got it all out and...
I am really sorry I havent updated you
Last Tuesday Tilly went into the vets for an operation to remove the lump, they found a 3cm x 3cm lump that was 'more than fatty tissue'. They sent it away for testing.
Today I got the news, Tilly has cancer, tests show it was an aggressive tumour of her...
Sorry forgot to update.
Hubby had to go and pick up antibiotics 10 days worth and give them to her, one tablet twice a day. They really don't know what it is so thought they would try the infection side first. Although the vet though it could be a bit of stick stuck in the inside of her throat...
Thank you for you insight and so sorry for your loss xx
It about an inch long sort of oval shape, to the right side and slightly lower than her voicebox.
When the vet did the FNA, he said the stuff was grey and gritty??
I have fingers crossed
Kim
I am in need of some pyjamas for Scrumpy because he hasn't got much fur and feels the cold. He has a coat when he is out but needs something for inside.
Just got back from the vets, they have taken a sample, by putting a needle in the lump and drawing out 'stuff'
The vet said the stuff he drew out was gritty
Anyway the results should be back in a day or so
I hope its nothing serious
Thank you for the warm welcome xx
Scrumpy Jack is doing great he has really grown up well, still a bit of a moaner though lol
I will look out some pictures
Tilly is 5 in March, I have noticed she has a lump about an inch long sort of oval shape, next to her adams apple.
It moves about and is of medium softness
I will pop her along to the vets tomorrow but just wondered if anyone has any ideas
Sorry to ask you after i havent been here for so long...
