    Brain tumor

I would have to agree with goldenbear2013, if it were mine I would seek some kind of second opinion or test. Not because the vet is wrong but confirmation, even if there is nothing that can be done. My lab has a heart condition, diagnosed at the local vet but I had second opinion as I too had a...

    Attitudes towards designer dog breeds

I did say some for allergy purposes, of course you are correct; there are many things that contribute to allergies. But I have seen through relatives that it can help, if only partly. I don't believe there is anything wrong with cross breeding, what annoys me is that there are already so many...

    Attitudes towards designer dog breeds

I agree however some are good for allergy purposes such as labradoodles. That being said, to make a crossbreed and then sell for a much higher price is crazy! Especially when there are so many lovely dogs looking for homes but are over looked :(

What is in UK dog food?

It's hard to say which is the best as everyone has their opinion. We have a 15year old Lab who has thrived on Natural Dog Food Company for years. She came with Pedigree tins etc from the Breeder which shows they don't always know best!! Once we read the ingredients we switched straight away...

    Irritable bowel disease - ibd

It's an awful thing to live with poor doggie! If you can do raw then that's great as it will be all natural but I find raw very difficult to get right, you have to make sure everything is in the correct balance and all essentials are in the mix, plus can be expensive and not very practical. If...

    I'm new here, hello!

Aww how adorable! Whatever you feed little and often is best until settled. My dog is 15 now, she is fed on dry kibble from Natural Dog Food Company. Best thing is do your research and everyone has their own opinion on these things so find something that is right for you, best of luck with your...

What is in UK dog food?

Always read the label, most companies advertise as 'natural' but add lots of things to the food. Most have vitamins and minerals too, how good can the ingredients be to start with if you have to add vitamins and minerals! :?
