I was at Thame this year on Monday and had a great time - show was very well organised, and all the Lurcherworld people were more than helpful in answering my stupid questions as a first-timer showing rather than just watching!!!
Only suggestion I have is that maybe the Mixed/Matched lurcher...
I would definitely try the water pistol trick as Jinnyfizz suggested - it worked on my brothers terriers when they went through a spate of fighting. (and it stopped my cat climbing the curtains!)
That's just dreadful - people like her should be hung   - the poor wee dog - I so wish I could have her but OH has put his foot down now we have 4.
Would always have a labrador, no matter what - fab loyal dogs - mine's always happy to go out with me whatever the weather (unlike the whippies!!!) but I'd also like a mini wirehaired Dachsie - would have one now but I'm not allowed - apparently 4 dogs is enough!! :p :b
I would use glitter spray rather than loose glitter - I tried to use loose craft glitter on some at Christmas - had glitter everywhere but where I wanted it!!! It's worth paying extra for the spray definitely!
Love to see pics of the finished article!? :)

My lurcher Fly is the dominant one and is always grabbing Maisie, my adult whippet round the neck. She too is much less irritating if she has a ball or a toy to carry - it definitely helps. I also put her on a lead to give Maisie time out from Fly - unfortunately Peggy, my 16wk old whippet puppy...
Thanks for that reply June - I too work in a vets and have seen many dogs with Parvo - I would never forgive myself if one of my dogs got it because I hadn't vaccinated. I will be speaking to my vet re: the kennel cough vacc - not sure it is worth it, but will have a think.
Just wondered how many people vaccinate their dogs? We are hoping to show Peggy and wonder if it might be a good idea to get her (and the others of course!) vaccinated?
Maisie is quite intelligent in a cunning sort of way - when we are feeding Peggy - the puppy - Maisie gets a squeaky toy, runs into the kitchen, squeaks it - dashes into the other room as though she's going to play, Peggy follows, distracted from her food, and Maisie drops the toy, whips back...
Lovely pics Sharon - Peggy had her jab last night too - weighs 3.4kgs - and she slept from 10.30-5.30 - so I'm feeling a bit more human today! Sean got her a little coat today as the weather's been dire and she doesn't like the rain!
Maisie was playing with her lots this morning - Fly still...
aww - Cara - thay're fab photos - thanks for posting them - was that my Peggy chewing someones laces? and sitting on the table? :- " - little monkey! Can't wait to get her! x
