My Zephyr 10 months seemed to take naturally to going outside (altho I took him out regularly & whistled to help him pee & told him he was a very good boy etc).
However Lupin who is now 20 months seems to think she's human and should use the bathroom (floor) :b unless she's out on a walk of...
Here's Lupin's head in avatar (hopeless at pic posting) she's half whippet, quarter beddie & the rest is grey with a dash of collie! :)
Couple of beddie whippet girls looking for home together on www.lurcherlink.org in Homes Needed under heading 2 dogs looking for homes (I think) but will no...
I really feel for you as think I'd go mad if someone pinched one of mine.
Mine come everywhere with me but they are still vulnerable if left in the car during supermarket run and from people in white vans altho would fight like the devil if someone tried to take them off me. Grrrrrr
Very best...
I took Lupin to a few shows last year (just cos I love her and think she deserves a rosette or 2) and thought they were good fun as long as you don't take them too seriously! :)
I can't show Lupe's paces off very well cos my legs are a bit knackered and I just can't run but altho we didn't get...
Very good advice I'd say! :)
Lupin (bitch) was a year old when I got Zephyr (dog) and had had her first season and settled down a bit from the manic puppy stage :D .
You would have a problem if you got a dog pup & it discovered what it's bits were for at the same time as your bitch had her...
I'm so sorry for you & your family and your poor dogs. I hope you get some justice for this insane act of violence. That farmer sounds deranged and certainly shouldn't be in possession of a a gun but rather locked up in a padded cell.
RIP Pippa & Tiegan.
Hi there,
Here is a link you WON'T enjoy looking at of greyhound with ears cut off so ownership can't be traced thru tattoo.
http://www.lurcher.org/llink/forum/viewtop...?t=3502&start=0
You'll probably find a few more cases on there if you look thru Homes Needed & Urgent Foster section.
Hi Waterloo,
How about a rescue lurcher? There are lots on www.lurcher.org in homes wanted & some in www.dogpages.org ranging from pups to oldies. They also list various rescue centres who may be in your area.
You will have to have your parents with you on this tho as no-one responsible will...
Yes try www.lurcher.org, there is a whippety dog called Cyril in Homes Wanted atm, not sure if he has a home in mind but there's probably somedog on there to fall in love with! :)
Not sure if it's working atm (couldn't get on just now) but will very soon I'm sure.
I'm sorry you lost your old...
Hi Lillybell,
Friend of mine in Cornwall has had a litter but they are only 3 weeks old atm.
They are half collie, quarter whippet & rest is grey/lurcher.
Not sure of sexes atm but there are 3 blue merles, 2 red merles, 1 black & 1 black & white. My Zephyr came from previous litter & he is...
Sorry I don't have any experience with this but hope your doglet recovers soon. Perhaps you could keep her occupied with indoor clicker training or something until she recovers.
Very best wishes & doggy kisses from Lupin & Zephyr.
Can't believe someone would nick your daffs JT  what is the matter with people? Snowdrops sound like a good idea or something that won't show up for a while. I planted a nice miniature flowering shrub in a pot over where my Gizzy is buried. Can't remember the name atm but sure you will...
That's terrible news, poor Batley & poor you. He was such a handsome chap.
I think planting daffodils is an excellent idea! Maybe some other bulbs as well?
Big hug from me.
RIP Batley.
