There is a new batch of travellers parked up on Roundway by Oliver's Castle & pretty sure they were trying to pinch my 2 lurchers last night so anyone living in this area - avoid walking there til they have moved on. I have informed OP in case they have the 2 from Westbury & rang council this...
Can't see them on Doglost, would be a good place to put them.
Will keep my eyes open as in Wilts (not that area), they were travellers around here last week/end cos of Autumn solstice so might be worth checking around Stonehenge/Avebury. The ones camped in Devizes have moved on but didn't have...
I can't bear to think of her with empty bowls & food just out of reach.
Well said Stormydog! I hope she gets what she deserves
Run free little Cody
As a suggestion - could we have an auction of donated items with proceeds going to LAW?
If someone could act as treasurer members could donate items and other members could bid and the goods could be posted to winning bidder (by donating person) when payment received by treasurer.
Let me know...
That poor dog! :(
I would have waded in and removed it rather than carry on filming
but spose I don't know the circumstances. I'd like to give the bloke
a good beating back
Below link is the result of cruelty to animals in Ireland and if anyone could
donate dog accessories...
Lily, Aesop & the others wring my heart and wish I could stop the cruelty that
led to their condition but doubt that can be achieved so can only appeal to doglovers who have spare doggy accessories to post them to LAW & if there
is anyone who organises jumble sales etc on here praps they could...
It's not my website rach125 but you CAN help by telling other peeps about it as the more people who look the better as some may be able to help.
There is a shop link which sells stickers for cars with the website on + anyone who can spare a blanket, collar, dog coat, toy or anything really...

Just look at poor Lily  :( and the other 40 Lurchers & Greyhounds who need bedding, coats, collars and anything you can spare including forever sofas!
If anyone in England, Scotland or Wales is interested in adopting a doglet...
Poor Retriever :( I had a retriever as my first dog and she was so gentle and good natured I'm not surprised you are upset at her being attacked. Maybe if you spay your whippet it will reduce the aggression or try some Evening Primrose oil first as that might soothe her if she's getting PMT?
Willow is a very pretty little girlie  and after all she's been thru lately is bound to make a few puddles especially after being shut in cage at vets but expect she'll soon get the hang of peeing etc outside if you take her out regularly and make a fool of yourself saying 'good wees -...
Willow is a lovely name and well suited to a slender little whippety person :D
Hope you manage to post pics (when you have some) cos I'm totally hopeless at it :b
My little Lupin is half whippy and is the snuggliest most affectionate doglet imaginable :D . She likes to curl up behind my knees at night and is never far from my side. I'm sure you'll enjoy sleeping/walking/living with your lovely new girlie and only dispute will be whose bed she slithers...
(Hello Lurch nice to see you here 8) )
I have
Lupin who is half whippet x quarter beddie + rest grey with a touch of collie in her eyes
Zephyr is half collie x lurcher (whippy grandpa + grey & think a smidge of beddie)
Both are totally scrummy! :)
Don't have any personal pyo experience either but wish her a speedy recovery :luck: I always worry myself sick when my animals are unwell.
Re anaesthetic my vet used half usual dose of pre med + human anaesthetic given slowly over 2 minutes (as running dogs metabolise it too quickly...
Have a look on Admart, Adpost or in Countrymans Weekly.
There's bound to be some in rescues so worth looking on www.dogpages.org.uk & www.lurcher.org altho don't think the latter have any whippetxbeddie pups atm but there are other pups listed.
Flexi leads can be dangerous with a running dog like a whippy unless attached to harness rather than collar as their liitle necks are delicate and could do serious damage if brought up short from full pelt at end of lead.
I suggest you find your lunge line or acquire well fitting harness. She...
Think I have seen Star listed on doglost but do check traveller sites (with backup) as she could easily have been nicked and all the local horse fairs etc too + put up posters & contact local radio as previously suggested.
