New Open Show At Shane's Castle

Sat 26 June KC open show for gundogs, hounds and terriers. Entries close 1 June. First entry per exhibitor costs £8 and includes an admission into the game fair/medieval fair. Whippet races are held at this event, so it may be possible to show your dog in the morning and race in the afternoon?

Unfortunatley this is rather badly timed. It is on the same day as Blackpool Ch show and also Kilkenny Ch Show in the south which is Followed BY Deise Ch show the following day, which may affect their entry. I hope the club get entries as there are very few open shows here as it is :luck: , I am sure there will be some people who will not be attending the CH shows mentioned.

Most of the pedigree shows do have a very good entry of whippets Sammy, hopefully this one will too . The number of entries at shows is always affected if two or more shows are held on the same date, which unfortunately seems to be the case here, and at some other shows this year Entry numbers can also vary depending on who the Judge is :-
