Xylitol in Asda ice cream

Thanks for this. My friend's border collie almost died from eating (stealing) biscuits containing this stuff. He was a very young dog and has still been left with impaired liver function. It's noxious!

Our desire nee our demands for sugar replacements are the root of the problem.
Unable to control our overeating we are putting animals at risk with these substances.

I came across a man clearing up round a place where teenagers often congregate - he said they keep leaving sweets that contain xylitol lying around which could easily be eaten by dogs.

It's frightening - obviously people who don't have dogs are unaware, but it's such a worry, imagining what they could pick up.

Thanks for the warning! It's horrible stuff and creeping into so many products now.
