:) far too quiet on here tonight so thought of a new topic for you all to get your thinking caps on. Whos going to Warwick (bends) on Sunday then? What are your tips for No limits, 40lb 36lb (if there is 1) vet, dog bitch and supreme?

:p well cmon dont all be shy surely someones going to warwick. Well heres my tips if they go obviously. No limit Anthonys Dream or Cmon Sue. 40lb got to go for Pems Lad 36lb cant think of any just now. same with the vets. Bitches Lacey Venture and dogs The Builder or Cavendish. supreme Il go for the builder. ;)

:p thankyou vicky but dont bend race mickey whizz due 2 a hip injury (happened on bends wen younger) also an ijury 2 his accesory carpol on his wrist. we keeping fingers crossed he b ok on the straights. Our young dog whisper whizz i think is maybe a bit 2 young yet 4 the bends 15months maybe the end of the year. :D

Not going to Warwick I think its come a bit to soon for the Big Fellow. Might take him to Camus on Friday He needs another dog to run against . Took him to Easington today didnt trap to good but did 14.91 not bad for his 3rd time round.Didnt do a bad time at Bigges Main on Saturday 8.29 and acording to Lar he didnt trap to good. Al he needs now is to run against other dogs on a regular basis but its hard to find big dogs to train against as you know yourself with Sam.

If you have time can you tell me how to get to Canus and what time does trails start. See you soon. Woody

:p IL GET BACK 2 U ON THAT 1 NOT SURE OF THE START TIME BUT PETER MIGHT KNOW. IM SURE THERE WILL BE SOME BIG DOGS THERE 4 U 2 RUN AGAINST AS THE COXLODGE LADS GO :D

:D STILL NOT SURE OF THE TIMES OF THE TRIALS PETER THINKS 12NOON BUT IM NOT SURE I DO KNOW PAT WITH THE BUILDER GOES SO SHE WILL KNOW. DIRECTIONS GO ALONG THE SPINE ROAD TILL U GET TO THE CRAMLINGTON ROUNDABOUT TURN RIGHT HEAD FOR ASHINGTON QUITE A WAY ALONG YOU WILL SEE SIGN FOR CAMBOIS TAKE SLIP ROAD AT THE END OF SLIP ROAD TURN RIGHT FOLLOW THE ROAD ALONG PAST HOUSES YOU WILL COME TO A FORK IN THE ROAD TAKE A LEFT TURN (AGAIN PAST A ROW OF HOUSES) THEN U WILL SEE TWO HOUSES ON THEIR OWN JUST PAST THE 2ND HOUSE IS CAMBOIS GREYHOUND TRACK ON YOUR LEFT HAND SIDE IT IS SET SLIGHTLY BACK SO YOU WILL HAVE TO KEEP A LOOK OUT FOR IT I HOPE U FIND IT OK.

:p P.S THOSE DIRECTIONS ARE IF YOU ARE COMING FROM THE TUNNEL END NOT TOWN

Sorry Woody, don't you mean CAMOIS? a lovely (but cold) beach near Blyth and Ashington? As a southerner I've been there many times 8) Tips, for Sunday? Silver Lady in the yearlings and I hope my dog continues his form he's shown whilst trialing....

Paul

realmadyid whos your dog ? il tell my other half to look out for him. :p

I think the Boyd's Time will run a nice race at Warwick in her class she seems to have really clicked with the track and has run well there when I have seen her there.

I wanted to come down and try Moany Moany in the yearlings but Connors Lass bruised her wrist at the weekend when racing at club so we decided to postpone the trip to Warwick for another week just to make sure her wrist is OK before we make the trip.

Have fun everyone who is going, enjoy yourselves and drive carefully if those high winds are still about.

WOODY trials start at 2 pm directoins once your on the beach side road turn in next to the ornamental pit wheel track set back from road its called WANSBECK GREYHOUNDS at CAMBOIS PAT

hi Sherry, it's Red Reign, he's just 18 months, but has taken to the bends, I like it too...I like the way the racing moves quickly, he just likes to run that bit more :D

Also nice to see places I know mentioned in the North East. I hope to go to the Derby at easter and stay at The Swan, Gude Post, nr Ashington if anyone knows it?

It's a nice pub with accomodation that likes dogs too...

:D what weight is your dog red reign? ive not heard of it bit my other half reckons he has is he 26lb? Yeah Ive heard of guidepost. Glad to hear your travelling to English Derby am I right in thinking you are from down South? ;)

My dog is 27lb...well he is today...we're off to Amsterdam till Saturday and me mate is looking after him...so I hope he don't spoil him too much...

We're in Thurrock (Grays), I'm originally from East London and my wife is from Cambois, Northumberland, but the accent had long gone...

:p well enjoy amsterdam and good luck with your dog for sunday.. I bet the ashington accent is still there a little
