Whippet Stolen

Wendy Spencer has had her Dutch Whippet Stolen today from her House. The thieves removed a pane of glass from a door. The whippet was the only thing stolen.

The whippet is Of Summers Joy Gillian at Chelridge

She is fawn about 3 years.

Wendy is devastated as Gilly is such a sweet girl, I will try tompsoit a picture but I only have a head shot.

Any sightings please contact wendy on 01908 510796.

The police have been informed and will be doing the rounds of the traveller sites tomorrow.

I am so absolutely gutted to hear of this - Gillian is the sweetest little fawn whippet - have met her lots of times at shows - have just been trawling through my photos to see if I could find any of her, but unfortunately I can't - will let everyone I know though - can only hope she becomes too hot to handle.

Not sure if this has already been done, but has anyone passed the details onto kay at lurcherlink, she runs a lurcher rescue and search organisation but she also helps locates most types of running dogs as well, she has so many contacts across the country.

If this has been done then just ignore me. if not she is worth a try.

Just had a quick chat with Wendy who has asked that I thank everyone on K9 for their support and offers of help. There is no news yet but Gillys theft has been widely publised and a rewrad is being offered.
