My ten month old fawn whippet bitch was stolen from Dunton Green in Kent on Thursday. She has been microchipped and spayed and her name is Amy.

If anyone sees or hears anything I would be really grateful if you could get in contact.

We suspect that she may have been taken by irish travellers nearby for coursing.

Please look out for her, and I would be really grateful if anyone in the area could put up posters (doglost.co.uk recommended postering Bean, Dartford, Edenbridge, Swanley and Denton). We and our other whippet are really missing her.

Oh poor puppy :( , I hope you find her soon.

Good luck in your search. :luck:

:( how terrible, i hope you find her soon :luck: :luck:

How dreadful. I live in Kent too (near Ashford) and am always keeping a very close eye on my dogs. Have you tried going to the travellers' site (maybe you could persuade the police to come with you) to look for your dog?

Have you got any big hefty family members who could go with you?

Might be worth offering them a reward if they 'find' your dog?

I'm really sorry I hope you get her back really soon :luck: :luck: :luck:

So sorry to hear this :(

I'm crossing everything that someone sees the posters and brings her to collect the reward :luck: :luck: :luck:

I have crossposted to The Whippet Forum, hope that's okay.

bump

have sent you a message to see if we can help at all x

Sadly still no news about Amy. We visited the travellers site, but they claim to know nothing. We have put up a lot of posters and put a reward in a local paper and will continue to do so.

I'm hoping whoever has her will contact us looking for a reward. We really really want her back, we really miss her and our other whippet is pining for her.

Thanks everyone for your messages, will keep you updated.

Nina
