Whippet Pup Wanted

hello, I am looking for a whippet bitch pup. (Ideally black but its no essential). I am in the Southampton area, having had both rescue lurchers and have shown my pointers up to crufts level, so am an experience dog owner. I am hoping for a lovely girl who is good enough to show but am mainly after a sofa companion! Have been trawling the net and local papers but bitches seem like gold dust! Any help appreciated, thanks.

Hi Flossy, welcome to k9 there are some lovely race bred dogs in pedigree whippet racing thread dont know if these would suit you try putting a post in whippet showing to. Good luck.

Hi Flossy, Welcome to K9. I live quite local to you in Waterlooville and it is very rare to see whippets advertised locally. I think you will need to spread your net wider but K9 is a brilliant site and there is usually information regarding puppies available. There was a post a couple of days ago about two lovely bitch puppies, I think Karen has the information and if I remeber correctly they were Hampshire based. aha, the soft brindle thread.... i have pm`d her, many thanks! One of my show aquaintances used to show and breed whippets but she is only pointers and pointer rescue now. There are some lovely whips on this site, quite envious!!

hello i'm in fareham, when i was looking for a pup i went on to the kennel club site and used the locator, ended up having to kent to get charlie, theres sometime whippets advertised in the freeads but very rarely
