Well done to all concerned

Special well done to Claire the proudddddd owner of Silver missouri. the long journey was worth it then??????

Also best wishes to the Collooney Kennel from across the water how did Siver Silas look Viv O.K?

Heather and the Khabaray Whips

And here is the dog of year and runner up. Hope you got home ok Dessie . bad luck

Apart from meeting up with my mates and having a good natter it was thoroughly boring!!!!!!!!!!! :(

No anticipation, no, well nothing really . For those that didn`t go all the pups were judged by the 3 judges Dawn put on earlier , After that Shirly Rawlings just came out and said the winner is>>>>>>>>>>.. No ,In 5th place . in 4th place etc , no finale to it at all

The adults were done in the same way only this time irt was shortlisted to 8 , I must admit it was good to see all the `best `whippets of 2003 in one ring . :p

The eightt were all moved again and then the winner given out ! Now i would have done 5 ,4 3,2 and then with 3 left had a bit of drama for the winner!!!!!!

We were`nt allowed to see what marks the judges had given for each dog `in case it was embarassing for the owner` more like the judges if you ask me !! If the whippet peps could have seen the markings then they would have had to judge to the best ot there ability , in my mind knowing no one was going to see the

results was open to abuse.

Just think you could mark a mate high and knock down `good `opposition. I`m not saying anyone did but you get my drift, If its going on view you would make yourself look pretty silly if you did that wouldn`t you :- "

Mike Howgat has a good idea for next year , do it on a match basis , but so that ,should the best 2 dogs get drawn out togther, have 4 dogs at a time and 2 go through to the next round. :))

We could also have Judges who at least have been in the ring in the last 5years or so . I think Rachels last dog was Ch Puddleduck Swansong in the 80`s!!!!!!!and I can`t remember when Dolly was last in the ring at all in the 90`s!

END OF MOAN

And where were you RUBYWHIP :clown: :luck: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and here`s lasy years winner of Pamelas MULTI MEGA CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bescott Standard Lady of Falconcrag ,Not a brilliant photo I admit but I still think she`s stunning

Don`t know what happened there!!!!!!!!!!!

:D Oh dear ! Sounds like it wasn't much better than last year then Jax. :b

Well done to all the winner though

Yes Millie/Jax, thats what I meant about the judges/atmosphere last year. I think the breed council need to sit down and think it through a bit better. When I saw last years judges (all very nice people) I also saw a lot of people think oh god its too late to leave (w00t) ;)

H i Jax

Where was I ?

"working my nuts off------------------------dealing with people who's car had rolled into the river ! !

Had fun at the show then

Got to agree with that Karen.

I'm off to the Collie of the year in two weeks and thats well organised, posh frocks, dinner and dance, the works. Should I take the whippet breed council along with me LOL (w00t)

Thanks Rubywhip

:D :D :D :D :D Im soooo happy.

Not long home, but it was all worth while all of us are chuffed to bits with Minnie doing sooooooooo well.

Battling through blizzards and typhoons and the flat tyre, ---- was all worth it

See you soon

PS ( Biased oppinion I know) But Silver Silas looked lovely (as Always)

Well, I had a nice day even though we didn't do anything!!! My dogs were very well behaved (Ronan took a real shine to Rachel Flatt!) and I was proud that they took part, we had a good journey both ways and the food was good! It is a good venue and I thought there was a pleasant atmosphere and everyone seemed very jolly.

The only gripe I have is that Rupert was not credited with JW after his name in the catalogue and I know it was on my form so a slap wrist for the printer!!

Well done to all the winners, especially Claire.

Dawn, did I imagine it or did Shirley announce at the end that if we sent an SAE to Jo Davies we could get a copy of the scores (it was difficult to hear properly with everyone packing away) but I would be interested to know how my boys did in the overall scheme of things because, at present, I don't have a clue whether they were 3rd or last!!!

No Dessie it was to Margaret Dixon

It was suggested if we all put Idea`s of how we think it should be done and send those to Margaret too.

I thought Shirley said it was Jo Davies BUT I have been known to be wrong (NOT often though) & I thought it seemed odd at the time to say Jo and not Margaret.
