I have compiled most of the 2012 Calendar, subject to the BWRA AGM in December.

Can any club who has not yet requested any dates, please email with respective dates for the new racing season.

Clubs will be entitled to 2 Top Ten opens per year, and BWRA regions, only 1 Top Ten per year.

Clubs staging any charity events will count towards their Top Ten allocation.

Clubs staging UK/Scottish/South Coast Scr Champs will also counts as their second Top Ten open.

No dates clash in the Calendar so far, and there are still vacant dates available.

Only the proposed early May Bank Holiday weekend events clash, which are at each end of the country.

If the respective clubs (Ayrshire & Thurrock) don't wish to have this weekend in 2012,

please let me know as others would like to have these dates if they are now not required.

A full round up and write-up of winners and finalists will be published in the January edition after the 2011 results have been compiled.

The forthcoming December issue (published in time for the Classic Bend Derby) will feature an in depth 'write-up' and photographs from the recent NNWRF Bend Championships.

Pleased no dates clashes i think the recent turn out at bend events have proved this..i just hope that throughout 2012 some people don't see fit to start adding additional opens to clash with the calender and maybe keep these at there clubs on summer night time racing

Did you make any changes to top ten or calendar for 2012 Chris

That would be a good idea for any additional opens Denise.

The Fed & BWRA National events are the same.

Clubs can hold (if they wish) 2 Top Ten points opens, BWRA Regions now have 1 Top Ten open instead of 2, with the reasoning that a club needs the much-needed revenue to keep them solvent preventing closure, more than a region!

I hope this makes some sense, for without the clubs we wouldn't have the need for regions.
