We don't live far away from Sheffield, what area was it?

Have you any pics?

:luck: :luck:

Really sorry, what a horrible thing to happen. I'm too far away to help, but sending lots of good wishes that he's home soon :luck:

I assume you have been in touch with local Dog Warden, pound, rescues, vets etc. At least he's chipped, so should be identified if he's picked up.

Thanks for everyones help - we are safely home, the 'friends' who took him to their so called friends went out this morning and whilst driving saw him running about half a mile from where he dissappeared from. they managed to corner him and although one got nipped got him into a cage and to their house - i was otified at 10.30am and we left at 11am - was so pleased to see him and him us - family wanted to go to Mcdonalds and louis had some burger, chips, mcflurry, then to morrissons for a new bowl and some goats milk, raw carrot and a sleep and we got home.

I have just checked him over - pads are torn to pieces, cuts and bruises and hair loss from belly, legs and tail and after a salt water bathe, patted dry with cotton wool and creamed with sudocreme he is tucked up quietly in a crate after eating his tea bith a large bone quite happily!!!!!

I had a small lapse of judgement of character and it certainly wont happen again.

Everyone has offered so much - thank you all
