Whippet Boarder

Hi everyone,

I have a handsome two year old brindle whippet boy called Alfie.

However I have a problem in so much that we have booked a week away at the end of May and

my trusted friends who would normally have my boy for the odd weekend etc are away also.

I realise that there are tonnes of adverts for this kind of service but I really would be happier with someone who understands

whippets and their needs.

Does anyone know a whippet lover who boards whippets in the Reading/Wokingham surrounding area that they could recommend?

Just wondered would Alfie's breeder have him back for the week you are away?

Alternatively your vet may be able to recommend someone local to you who has experience with whippets/hounds.

a member on twf..the whippet forum..(woodypup 'liv') does home boarding but shes down south would this be too far..she has whippets herself

Hi

Thanks for your suggestions.

I have in the last couple of hours made arrangements for him to stay with someone locally who has two retired greyhounds (retired but only 4 and 5 years old).

We'll do a couple of visits and maybe an overnight before we go just so that he knows we'll be coming back (w00t)

He will be very happy I'm sure, and I will have peace of mind that he is with people who love sight hounds and understand his kind!
