When Best To Worm?

Would you recomend to give the worming pill with their evening meal or with their morning one?

How long does it take to the pill to have an effect on their bowels? :blink:

I prefer to give mine in the morning on the weekend when the door is open most of the day - just in case!

don't know why though, we've never had a problem in all the years I've been worming them, just for piece of mind - and a clean kitchen :wacko:

should take 24-48 hours to kill the wormies.

but remember the tablet only kills whats in the system at the time- and doesnt stop the dog picking them up and getting in the system. so the day after worming the dog could eat some sheep poo and get a load of worms again.

It really does not matter when you worm them, it does not make them ill as in the old days. Use only tablets from vet, do not use the ones from supermarket, they are cheaper but can be ineffective.
