Self-catering - by far the easiest option with Jasper.

We're not fussy, but do have a few requirements:

• Walking distance to dog-friendly sandy deserted beach (J doesn't like walking on pebbles) without nearby roads. Or failing sea, lots of great safe off-lead walks
  
• No sheep in local area
• No cliffs that may look unscaleable until J scents rabbits at the top and turns into a mountain goat... never again do I want to see him running like a loony on a headland with a 100-foot drop into the sea!
  
• Not too many deer...
• Within 3 hours of Poole as J's not great in the car
• Dogs allowed to sleep in bedroom
• Room to corrall J in one part of the bedroom with suitcases in case he gets stressed being in a new place and decided it's not safe to let Mum go for a wee in the night
• No cats close by
• Enclosed garden, not all paved as he won't poo on paving
• Not fronting directly onto a road/pavement as he doesn't like people walking right by the window - at home that would mean they would be in our front garden
• Front room is large enough so we're not too crammed in - he can get sleep aggression if he senses someone moving right next to him
• No low beams or OH will bash his head at least once a day
• Woods nearby for walks if it's raining

Ideally, also walking distance to spacious dog-friendly pub with garden. Sea views would be lovely too but I don't want to be too fussy!

We have a motorhome and that's the only way we holiday now. The furthest we have been in it is Croatia, with Timber obviously. We also use it for weekends away - in fact we are doing that right now!

We are in Northumberland, a small market town called Wooler. It's the area where Mr F grew up so we visit a couple of times a year to reminisce about where he fell in the river, crashed his bicycle and stole apples from his neighbour's tree ...

Camping because we can never find accommodation for when we had our old dog (cockapoo) but we have booked a space on a campsite for our two dogs in autumn cant wait!
