Found the problem - it's a bug in this release of the forum software. All posts on the front page are truncated at 500 characters. Unfortunately the 500 character cut off point in 'bubblesgums' post is half way through a quoted bit of text - hence the following articles have ended up being quoted.

I should get round to updating the software to the latest release I suppose. Although I've just looked at the release notes for the latest release and there is no mention of this bug.
