We have two whippets, 21 inches to the shoulder who have a love of foam!. We are taking them on their first trip to the caravan and fear for the seats if we dont take action.

What sized dog crate is required for two whippets 21 inches to the shoulder and does anybody recommend specific cages?

Regards

Chris

I've just got 2 36" cages Chris and can fit two of mine in comfortably they 19/20 inch to the shoulder, having said that they are in the van for travelling, at home we have 42" GSD size I think so they have plenty of room to stretch, I think it all depends on what sort of length of time you need them for really if it's not ages then 36" would be fine for you I'd say, otherwise I'd opt for the bigger one and you can fit 3 in that if you need to :- "

I got them from here http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Pet-Europe and they are good quality and fast service

a 36 inch should do you well for the two of them.

I use a 30 inch and/or a 36 inch for my two girls. Had 3 in a 36 inch before comfortably enough, so it should do for 2 boys easily.

I've had mine from http://www.doghealth.co.uk , but they also trade on eBay as GWDavies, and are often cheaper there

I got mine from GWDavies on ebay too. Very quick delivery and good quality.  I have a 30" for one whippet and there is plenty of room, so I would think a 36" would be plenty big enough for two. :huggles: :huggles:

Thanks for all the replies and advice. In the end we got one from Argos as we needed to have it by Thursday but the ones on ebay looked great. They are currently eating chocolate drops from inside it .
