Need a little advice please.

I need to know what club I can join so that "ALL" racing champs will be available to me. Are some clubs not reg this yrs... something like that... Im new to Kc peds, so sorry for ignorance.

My nearest clubs are Dartford kent & Maidstone kent... but did hear of someone joining club way down south west so they can race at champs.

Thanks

To race with at the NPWRA National Championships your dogs need to have an NPWRA passport and be free from disqualification. If you pm me with your email address then I'll email you the passport application forms, a list of seconders and our rules of racing.

You can clear your dogs for racing with us at ANY pedigree whippet racing club.

It would be useful if the N.P.W.R.A. Committee would write to all pedigree Club secretaries informing them of the relevant rules and procedures for clearing dogs for the Nationals Champs. Those of us who aren't members of the N P W.R.A. and are secretaries of pedigree racing clubs don't know this.

Yes you are correct, there are no affiliated clubs near you. There is a lovely club at Detling where the members would be more than willing to introduce you to the sport, and help you with your dogs. Its a very friendly club, we love visiting for their opens.

I wish they would as well, anyone new to racing will find it confusing as there are pedigree racing clubs all over the country. People do need to know what they are doing.

Thanks for asking this question Julia.

It's exactly the way that dogs are cleared for racing with the WCRA, and independent club opens.

There is a difference however in how a dog can be re-cleared once disqualified. We allow a dog that has been disqualified on a bend to re-clear on a straight in order to race with us.
