This quote is one of my favourites and so pertinent to the owners that I work with, supporting them and their anxious, fearful, frustrated or even aggressive dogs.

It helps me pause, breathe, reflect and just get a bit of perspective to feel empowered again.

This picture is of my wonderful friend and professional colleague Sanna, she's moved to Norway now darn it!, but this is her and her amazing lad, Precious (P for short). Sanna worked with me at Reactive Dogs UK for years but stopped when she moved. Can't say I blame her - Norway is stunning - having a bit of photo envy, mountain envy, open space envy, snow envy over here!

What quote inspires you when you most need some motivation?

xx nic

I was trying to think of one and in the end I just made this(with a little help from my daughter!) I do love this silly pic of Jake and for me sometimes I feel that just stopping and finding even little a bit of comedy in a situation can do us all a world of good! The age old saying of 'laughter is the best medicine'...:D:p

oh yes! love a good giggle and being silly. perfect !

I'm also going to use one I invented myself...

There's no such thing as a bad dog: just dogs with inconvenient coping strategies.
Yes, I guess they really can be inconvenient at times for us!

I openly admit, I have just seen this but it resonated with me -

“Too much perfection is a mistake”.

Yeah - you've really got to go with the flow and realise that no one, and no dog is perfect. But we will find people and dogs that are perfect *for us* xxx
